Samsung Smart Monitor M8 is the newest member of the range launched by the South Korean manufacturer in 2020 and renewed last year with the 43-inch 4K and 24-inch FHD models. New design with a thickness of 11.4mm, new functions and four colors to choose from, namely Warm White, Sunset Pink, Daylight Blue and Spring Green. The series is offered in the 32-inch format with Ultra HD resolution.
Productivity, yes, but also entertainment thanks to smart functions: we are in fact in front of a monitor with a wide diagonal, able to connect wirelessly to IT devices through the updated SmartThings Hub, equipped with a Workspace user interface with support for Samsung DeX, AirPlay 2 and Microsoft 365 and ready to be connected wirelessly to a PC or a Mac. But it does not stop at this, it was said, because Smart Monitor M8 can also connect directly to Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+ and Apple TV+ in WiFi mode, so without necessarily connecting to a PC or your TV. And this also applies to connecting to the network, surfing the web, sending emails or taking advantage of some productivity apps.
The highlight of the M8 is SlimFit Camera, a removable webcam that can be magnetically attached to the monitor equipped with face tracking and auto zoom functions with support for several video chat apps, including Google Duo. And there is also the Far Field Voice microphone, through which you can interact with Bixby and Alexa.
