RED DEAD REDEMPTION FOREVER
As seen in Red Dead Redemption 2, the world is quite lawless, and characters have their ways of dealing with one another. We come across almost everything that the Wild West may have posed as a danger to those who explored it between 1899 and 1907 (the period during which the game takes place): are being threatened by other gangs, strange cults, serial killers, wild animals, and much more. Of course, all those elements are always poised to pounce on our wretched simulacrum on the screen, the good old Arthur Morgan.
Hence, there are as many wicked ways Arthur can die a horrible death for as there are risks between the start of the game’s ‘campaign’ and the finish line. Nonetheless, taking into account the high number of details and random, or not so random, possibilities which are put by Rockstar into the game, there are still players who discover something new or even new ways to kill a character of the game, and all of it is within 6 years after the game’s release.
In Reddit, a user with username eagerly posting as Kindly_Budget_6462 previously on the r/reddeadredemption subreddit posted a video of a police officer performing a massacre in Saint Denis and immediately after the event, without missing a beat, the officer would brutally stab Arthur in the chest with an uncommonly sharp hunting knife. This obviously came as a shock to people like Kindly_Budget_6462 who engaged in the conversation with various comments expressing their opinions that such a form of method should have been associated with characters that are bounty hunters or the night people than a worthy member of the law. However, if the police officer has to employ a bladed weapon, mostly they pull out the truncheon.
FOR RED DEAD TO MANIC COP Now you know these machete wielding police officers, however the heist seems to be quite specific and seemingly confined to a one-off event. This execution is all the more radical because our character can fire a few shots, but a melee weapon such as a knife will usually knock us down in one fell swoop, as demonstrated here in Kindly_Budget_6462’s video. I did not expect to see a police officer use such a weapon although the uniform was clearly carved out to give them leeway to go round the rules once in a while. It demonstrates how Rockstar has come up with endless scenarios that put the player on the alert in Red Dead Redemption 2 – law enforcement in the game here, just like in GTA, will try to bring down their convict, the protagonist of the game, alive or preferably dead. While you, the player, know that you now have to avoid the police officers in Saint Denis.
