Podcasts as a platform get the big break they need at Apple
Continuing the sequence of its efforts to make podcasts available for listeners Apple has unveiled a new web interface. Originally created to mimic the dedicated app, it now provides a significantly enhanced experience of streaming or show management across devices.
A web version that will be a twin of the application
There are more features next to the fact that merely reading the episodes are available through the browser if the dedicated application is not installed. Apple has been able to leverage the ‘‘end-to-end application’’ to launch a web page where they can browse the shows, access the catalogue, check the standings, subscribe and so much more.
In additional, achieving an effective synchronization to the web-based version of the application.
When you use Apple Podcasts on the web, your Apple Account stays in tune with the reading progress, shows you loved, and subscriptions across devices. In their words, even if you are a non-Apple account holder, you will still be able to ‘browse and listen,’ although your capacity will be slightly restricted.
A globally available offer
The Cupertino company says this new version of Podcasts on the web is already available in over 170 countries and on all web browsers, Safari, Chrome, Edge & FireFox. Thus, Apple renews the podcast terrain again and again, and expresses its consistent interest in making user experience its topmost priority.
